I’ve been swimming a lot lately. Gray taught me (somehow) how to not breathe underwater and now I can swim without something holding my nose. It’s fabulous, actually. So I’ve been swimming… a lot. It’s been my only form of exercise, but at least it’s happening, right?

I’ve been in summer school for a week and if it all goes well, by the end of this week I will be done, with an A. :) Yes, that means that for the next three weeks I’ll be reading a ton for the 2-1/2 hours I wait for Gray M-R. I don’t think I’ll mind it one bit.

Plans for this week include: taking the truck to Nashville Tuesday to figure out why it’s acting up, True Blood with Trina on Wednesday, the Frist with Trina and friends on Friday, oh and Sunday birthday dinner with my girls… Monday I turn 25 and I’m excited. I’m officially ready for my birthday with a new driver’s license and everything. The fall will be here before I know it with some new challenges and changes. We’ll hopefully get a new car, I’d like to finally upgrade to an iphone (saving my birthday money up!) and of course, school.

I won’t say that I’m not disappointed about repeating Pathophysiology, because I am, but I will have a new and different professor so things might be easier. Everything works out for a reason in the end and I will just have to go with the flow about what has happened.

Last night I forced Gray to help me re-arrange the computer room a bit. It’s sad that we have so much stuff that we’d need another room just to have a spare room! I briefly looked at houses to rent the other day but nothing is in our budget, sadly. Well, the ones we could afford don’t allow pets, which is one reason why we’d want to move in the first place! Eh, we’ll probably wait until Gray graduates and gets a job before deciding where to move next. Only time will tell.

Trina and I briefly talked about renting a house, but the stuff I looked at wasn't in our budget unless we liked living in the ghetto. I'm kind of attached to this apartment complex. I've been 2 years and have never had any complaints.

@Samantha, Yeah, the stuff we could afford is in the ghetto here and doesn't allow pets, meaning there is no point. I mean, we can have pets here, but the pet deposit is so much and there are so many restrictions.

I love where we live, but it's still an apartment and I long for a house to call my own.

Send those tips for swimming on! I still can't swim underwater without plugging my nose. :p I'm such a baby.

@Mel: lol The thing that helped me get the hang of it was Gray told me, "Exhale out of your mouth and then hold your breathe." When I felt like I was about to breathe in under water, I just blew air out my nose. I still breathe it in here and there, but I'm doing much better. Granted, my form is terrible. I'm tempted to take a class but I almost don't want others to see how horrible I am!
