Yesterday morning as I was driving to work (at 5:50 a.m. mind you), I noticed something different about our car. We bought a gps/iphone/ipod holder about a month ago. It uses a suction cup to attach to the windshield so that the driver can easily see it for directions and anything else.
Well, yesterday I noticed it wasn’t attached anymore. I called Gray and asked him to check on it because I was going into work at the time. I forgot to ask him about his findings and checked the car myself when I got home from school. It was nowhere to be found.
We usually don’t lock the car because the few things that you could take, aren’t really worth it. So yes, someone could have opened our car at the apartment and taken it. Apparently that is what happened because Gray says it was in the car last night when he picked up a pizza for us.
I’m kind of in shock that someone would take the piece of plastic, and only take the plastic. Nothing else was taken in the car and we have a squeege, a towel, and a cassette tape recorder. We keep the compartments locked at all times so whoever it was couldn’t get into those and take anything. It just disgusts me that someone opened up my vehicle and took something so silly. Who the heck robs a car and takes a gps holder of all things?
Anyway, we are now locking our car at all times because I’m not replacing anything else, even if it something small!
