I made a list of blog ideas for this month, so it’s always fun to go through the list and remember what I planned to write about.
Friday night Gray and I had a date at Outback steakhouse (yummy!) followed by a game night with some people from church. It was so much fun!
We played Catch Phrase to get everyone awake, which was good because I was feeling very tired at this point. My team won twice and the competitive side of me said BOO YAH! We then played a t-shirt slogan game which is very similar to Apples to Apples. Someone draws a t-shirt and then everyone has three slogans to choose from for that person. Then they get to read them all aloud and choose one. Whoever’s slogan gets chosen gets special points and the person with the most points at the end wins the game. I ended up winning once and I got a Boo yah card which meant I could choose the amount of points on that card (400 in my case) or choose someone else’s. I knew Mitch had a 1400 point card so I went to switch and got his 99 point card. Oh well, at least he didn’t get my 400 points in its place!
We had to leave early because my 5k was the next morning, but it was great to see everyone and get to play some fun board games. I wish I had taken some pictures, but alas I didn’t.
