The Weekend of Justin
As Trina covered a week ago, there were a tight group of us in college who hung out together. I met Trina and Sam when I lived in Wood, we all lived a few doors down from each other. At the end of that school year I applied to be a Resident Assistant on campus and found out I would be working with Justin. Trina and Sam both knew him pretty well so I met him and we all hung out briefly before leaving for the summer. The three of them liked to play games and hang out in his dorm room so I accompanied them a few times… and p.s. – I suck at Fusion Frenzy. :)
So the next school year, Sam and Trina lived together and Justin and I worked together. We’d all hang out as much as possible, although Trina dated a guy during that time that was really possessive of her. The dude barely let her hang out with Sam, who LIVED with her. Anyway, the point is that we all become good friends and eventually, were all able to hang out again.
Well Justin, Trina, and I all graduated the same semester and Justin moved back to Little Rock, AR where he had a job lined up. He came to visit us last summer after I was married and then Trina convinced him (I think?) to come back this summer.
And so it was planned that we would have a weekend of Justin including: Friday game night, Saturday movie night, and Sunday murder mystery party night.
The rest will be easier to show you pictures and then commentate.

My first time playing rock band and singing, it was fun!

Gray enjoyed the guitar solos.

Apples to Apples. We always say that our winnings describe our personality. Hmm I may be a bit unique.

We goofed off before the movie.

Me as "Silky" and Gray as "Socks"

The Whole Gang at Cheddars
I won’t tell you who was the killer in case you want to play the game (which was The Chicago Caper) but it was a lot of fun!
This is the third murder mystery game we’ve played and I liked it the best. The first one I bought at Wal-mart and it had a script, which was great because only a handful of us has done one before. The second one was not scripted and it told the killer who they were immediately (the first one told the killer at the end). The Chicago Caper did not tell anyone who the killer was until the end, making it much more enjoyable because even the killer didn’t know until the very end!
I’m already planning the next one and I can’t wait!
P.S. – Most pictures were taken by Trina.

Yeah, the convincing pretty much went like this:
"Hey, since you love Harry Potter so much, and we all borrowed your books throughout the series and have all seen the movies together at some point, why don't you come to TN to watch Half Blood Prince with us?"
To which he replied:
"Only if we can have a murder party."

Dang you're fast, I hadn't even finished updating this yet.
I never realized you didn't have the books until you asked to borrow mine this summer. I'm such a sad fan, only having read the last two books twice… that must be fixed! I'm actually still reading book six. :)
