So…are chinchillas friendly?

mel » I'm not sure how you'd describe a chinchilla. He'll let me hold him, if I can catch him. He does nibble on my fingers, but it doesn't hurt. Otherwise, he doesn't bite, although I've read they pee on predators. I haven't been peed on yet, so I guess he likes me enough. :)
