So yesterday I weighed-in and was surprised to see I had lost 10.2 lbs total since my weight-loss journey began December 1st. I don’t think I will make my goal of losing 25 lbs by the end of this month, but I’m glad I am at least in the “normal” weight range for my age and height now. In order words, I am no longer considered over weight.

This is a huge step for me and I still plan to continue on my weight-loss journey, but I feel so much better about myself knowing that I am out of the danger zone.

It hasn’t been an easy process, especially when I do something silly like buy four boxes of girl scout cookies. Ahem. In my defense, I’ve been really good at only eating a few a day while Gray gobbled down his two boxes instantly.

I also just got over the flu and I’m still struggling with a sinus crud in my body. It’s not been fun the past few days to take tests/quizes when I have been feeling like crap. Yesterday I was so exhausted in the afternoon that I took a nap. It was much needed.

I will be happy when today is over simply because I need a few days of rest.

I will hopefully type up a post about our new coffee table and the journey we took to find the perfect one for us. This post will be up in a day or two, hopefully. Until then, celebrate with me as I enjoy no longer being overweight!
